Some people might think our certified home inspectors just issue an inspection report. I think the following list is more representative of what an Inspect-It 1st inspector ‘does.' We explain our report findings in laymen's terms, so you actually understand the condition of the property you are either buying or selling. We put the report findings into perspective. There is no such thing as a ‘perfect' home (not even with new construction) but not every ‘defect' is cause for big concern. We give people confidence and peace of mind during one of life's most exciting and nerve-wracking times. We teach people how to take care of their homes, to enhance their personal comfort and to maintain their investment value. We educate the media and the public on property-related matters, whether it be building practices or safety issues. We reduce the likelihood of ‘buyer's remorse.' We can help people save money, whether it be by recommending energy-saving improvements, or recommending repair cost-cutting measures. We help educate new realtors about the home inspection process, so they can be a conduit of accurate information to their clients, and to help them stay up-to-speed on localized real estate topics.
